Dickie Chan

What can I say about Dickie, that family, friends, customers, and everyone who knew Dickie, don’t already know!

His friendship, trust and support to me over the many years that we had known each other was absolutely unbelievable.

His enthusiasm and energy for his business, his products, and his customers was endless.

He cared very, very much for the people who worked for him, and whilst he could be a hard task master, he was always in my mind, a very fair person and loyal to those around him.

He would love nothing more than to create a new product and then see that product being sold all over the world.

He could talk with customers about business 24 hours a day if needed.

His mind & memory was unbelievable, and the closest thing I have ever seen to a human computer

My words cannot express the sorrow and loss that I feel of not being able to see, talk and laugh with Dickie any more.

Over the coming years I will think of Dickie hundreds, if not thousands of times, about the things that made him so special and I will think of our times together in business and in social occasions all over the world.

We experienced and saw lots of changes together, both in business and in life.

No matter where Dickie would have been in the world, he was always excited to be coming back home. He loved Hong Kong with a passion…….

I definitely feel that they broke the mould when Dickie Chan was born; he was unique in every aspect of what he did. He was a one-off.

I feel he had an impact on everyone that knew him. Dickie never ceased to amaze me whilst living, but he is still amazing me now that he has passed away. This is because of the many kind words and tributes that he is receiving from the many many people all over the world that knew him.

It is very hard for me to say good bye, as he was my best friend and I loved him. I will miss him greatly and cannot believe that we are not going to have our discussions, conversations and laughs together anymore.

I feel privileged and honoured to have known him and it was a pleasure to have had him in my life

Dickie was amazing, God bless him and may he rest in peace.
